A fully fantastic family fourth! It would be hard to imagine a better small town Fourth of July than little Sonoma's! The morning's hour and a half parade had animals--including a bevy of daschunds in buns with mustard and catsup, a magnificent Clydesdale and costumed rider, exotic camel and mount, dozens of Greyhounds--kids--again dozens of tots to teens representing a multitude of martial arts, buckaroos and boppers--classic cars, the town band AND the other town band, a bit too much water spraying, and more great floats and town characters that made for marvelous fun for all! Then topping off a day of festivties, music and food in the plaza, was the almost-an-hour fireworks of the most professional and dazzling pyrotechnics imaginable. I hope the rest of you faithful two dozen Sonoma Valley tribesters had a great day, too!
